Will muriatic acid paint stripper do any damage to sewage pipes or sceptic tanks?
I know it is wrong to tip these things down the drain but it was an accident.

Yeah. It’s probably not the best idea to put those types of things down the drain but I really don’t think it will destroy your pipes. Make sure to rinse them well. Run water through them at a lukewarm temp. and whatever you do don’t use a plunger as this will only bring the chemicals back through. Keep an eye on the pipes especially the joints to make sure they aren’t leaking and next time try to br more careful. Good Luck

If you have steel pipes they will be eaten. Flush with water for about half an hour or so.
