If you work in a work place that has a sewage problem isn’t that a hazard to your health? And if so who?
should be contacted about that matter?, also we sometimes are told to pour bleach down the drain where the sewage problem, when I questioned if the maintanance staff should be doing that instead of the workers as not to damage their clothes, I was replied with oh well.
i work for a utility company gas water and sewer. the sewage smell isnt harmfull but if u come in contact with then touch your mouth or eye or a small child yes it is dangerous. hep. a b and c as well as other serious diseases. if your boss doesnt want to fix the problem call the police dept. it is a city utility unless company has a septic tank.
Be careful and don’t spill the bleach! Maintenance staff are workers too! If all you have to deal with is the smell then I seriously doubt that it could be considered a health problem. Are you saying that your clothes are more important than the maintenance staff’s? All you have to do is pour some bleach for crying out loud! Do you have too much pride to do that?
