Can someone help with plumbing problems for a single mom?

I have a sewage problem. I called the city, they sent someone out to my house, he pretty much just got out of his truck didn’t even look at anything, just told me that it was my problem not the cities. My sinks and toilet are draining fine, but when flushed we can hear a bubbling type noise in the pipes and it’s draining out of the pipe that comes out of the back of the house. My problem is I have no money, I am on maternity leave, scheduled to be enduced monday 8-13-07. I am worried about my kids getting sick because of this. Is there anybody or any company you know of that could help me out?I don’t want a hand out, I will be able to pay when i return to work, i just need something done quick, please help!!!!

Your main sewer pipe from your house to the city sewer is obstructed somewhere. Water is draining out of the cleanout pipe into your yard because it is the lowest point.

Any drain service company or plumber can clean out the line pretty fast and get you going again unless the line is broken or crushed out there somewhere. That usually doesn’t happen, but it could.

Not sure what the costs are for that. Prob around $125 to $150 depending on what part of the country you are in. good luck.

If sewage is draining out of a pipe coming out of the back of your house then you have a serious problem. It sounds like you have a broken pipe. You need to hook up the pipe that is coming out of your house to the pipe that connects to your septic or sewer line. If it is PVC (plastic) pipe it can probably be fixed in an hour. It might cost you $200. Or you can let the sewage drain out of your house into your yard and let all your kids play in it.

If there is a Louw’s, don’t known exact spelling, they will gladly help. Home depot will to. City????? no money no laundry, specially if in property, yard, area, but do submit a complaint to the mayor, if he or she, are of the one willing to help. You sure qualify do to your condition. Don’t know how it works over there, but here at P.R. we help our neighbors.

my aunt had the experience of when flushed we can hear a bubbling type noise on the pipes before, but not the draining out of the pipe that comes out of the back of the house. What she did was she turned the water adjustment knob to the highest ON level and the noise stopped. This water-line knob locates between the wall and the water tank and used to turn on/off the water supply. Try this one and see if it works. Good luck!
P.S. By the way, all the best to you and your new baby!

Ask your friends.neighbors, co-workers or clergy if there is a local handyman who needs a day of work.
