Can a construction co dump and leave soil from a sewer replacement project in a residential neighborhood?

sewer replacement

A church in our neighborhood has allowed the dumping, directly at the back of 3 homeowner lots, in 6′ high mounds, 30 feet from our homes. We are concerned about the health impact of sewage contaminated soil.

Contact your Department of Public Health. This could be a health violation that needs to be addressed. Go to your town hall for more information.

The dirt may sit there a while so any depressions from the repair can easily be filled in.
