Ant tips on running a new sewer line from my house?
This weekend I have a backhoe guy coming and will run a a new sewer line from my house to the main sewer because the clay pipe has collapsed. iI only plan on doing about half of the line to cut down on expense. I plan on using the rubber “boots” on both ends to convert to 4″ plastic. any tips from someone who has experience in this?
Yes, you are probably going to need your Visa or MasterCard once the digging has begun. The collapsed pipe is going to be a bit more extensive than planned. Just digging the line up is going to break more lengths and eventually you’ll end up replacing nearly all of the pipe. I would convert to PVC pipe for years of guaranteed safety.
i agree with mo-your 2/3 there with expense replace all the line -make sure there is access hole for snake in later years
